Tracks like “ Instinct Dwelling” and “ Caution Song” effortlessly display a cranked-up weight and complexity most bands could never muster. The intention behind La La Land, the film, was to show how the glamour, the romance, and the sheer joie de vivre of the classic fifties musicals could be recreated in the twenty-first century. I'm not an expert in music, so if the problem of the sound quality of colored vinyls is not very noticeable I don't really care.
