I’m not against jazz in modern pop, and the instrumental is slick, but the problem is the vocal melody and the singing in general. I’m not going to lie (I can't escape from this word here), I was very surprised when I heard the full version of Lie for the first time because it wasn’t how I imagined it. When he’s saying “I wish I could love myself”, I thought for months he was saying “I wish I could end myself”.

Symbolism such as the 'wings' were representations of growth, with Suga adding, "The song relays an optimistic determination to use our wings to go far, even if we are met with temptations in life. I truly think this is going to be one of their most iconic comebacks, even from years now, because with this, they also gained so much more world wide recognition. on Dazed Digital's "20 Best K-Pop Songs of 2017" list, and the magazine described the song as "an intelligent, compelling and elegantly restrained study of loss and longing" that "deliberately avoids cliché pomp and drama". He did say too that he cried when he made this song and it’s totally understandable, in fact I would be surprised if he didn’t. While I'm listening to this song, I just see their reactions when it was announced that they got the award for the album of the year.So Suga having his solo not be yoloswag-related and leaning towards rap ballad sounded slightly promising. But still there is a deeper connection if you can understand what he says right away without even thinking too hard on it. If we would take out his voice (which obviously would be a mistake because his passionate rapping and of course the words he says make the song as it is) it would be still an outstanding work of art. And that is ironic because, in my opinion, "Wings" is the tipping point for the boys to achieve the transition from Kpop superstars to the worldwide domination that is theirs now - probably the best album in their discography.

Billboard has very specific rules on how an album can or cannot count towards their charts, so please check with Billboard for further details.

This music video is the first released by BTS to include an interlude that is not found in the original track. After seeing how everyone went head over heels about Suga’s mental state addressed in The Last , it seems RapMon decided to have a go at using his insecurities for his solo but not have the music be at a constant crescendo and not have his voice’s volume go over the top. Each version would include a different photobook, a note that references The Most Beautiful Moment In Life, a random photocard and stickers.

He gets a lot of hate for things that he did in the past, some of them were not even his fault, some of them were just mistakes that he made but later he learned from, and this shows that Rap Monster is changing and trying his best.

Countdown on October 13 [65] where they performed three songs: the lead single, "Am I Wrong" and "21st Century Girl" the first week. Starting February 18 BTS held 2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour in support of their album, having shows in South Korea, the Americas, and various Asian countries. These songs capture the members so well I literally cannot imagine anyone but these two performing them. Begin tries to be different from that by having the chorus be more uptempo with added instruments, but that just makes it worse because it doesn’t match with the vocal melody. They remind me of shit ballads that are designed to make the singer sound good and not have the instrumental overshadow her.
