Biography
Steppin' Out Swing are one of the hottest Swing Jive and Jump Blues bands in the UK. These highly-experienced musicians are truly the cats "meow" and will Jive up any event with their Swing. "The Jumpingist Jivers in town" - the high energy Swingy-Jazzy-Jivey-Bluesy music is the name of the game with these fellas, from their togged-out period clothes to the in between-song banter, they will guarantee to have everyone up struttin' their stuff on the dance floor.
Steppin' Out Swing have been featured in live sessions on BBC radio and have performed at many music festivals and corporate events in the U.K. and around the world. Their repertoire consists of 1940's energetic Jive and Swing infused with cheeky good humour but they are also able to play vintage Rock n Roll tunes, Ska numbers and a grooving Funk set should a particular event call for it. Whatever style it is, Steppin' Out Swing never fail to liven up any event, so book them now - they'll cook up a storm!

Just wanted to say a big thank you for Saturday night at Charlton Park. Andrew has been grinning all weekend and everyone was raving about your performance - an absolutely fantastic evening, non stop dancing, great music - I couldn't have wished for better! You were brilliant!

I would like to thank you for doing such a great job for Sarah and Basil's wedding at Lympne Castle. Everyone, from the oldest guest at 83 to the youngest at 18 months, thoroughly enjoyed the 'gig' and, as well as all the usual keen and enthusiastic dancers, there were people dancing who normally would have to be dragged screaming onto the floor! A great achievement - thank you very much. With best wishes
